- All-in-one USB conference video bar with BYOD hub
Description
UVC40-BYOD is a practical fit for a small room where different people bring the meeting laptop. The video bar combines camera, microphones and speaker at the front of the room. Its wide field of view can include participants seated close to the screen, while automatic framing and speaker tracking provide alternatives to a fixed wide shot.
The BYOD box organizes the connection between the laptop, room display and USB peripherals. The call still runs on the laptop; this package is not a standalone room computer with a Teams Rooms license. Confirm your laptop’s USB-C display and power capabilities when planning the one-cable connection, since the connector shape alone does not establish those functions.
Features
- Wide camera view: 133° field of view is intended for huddle and small meeting rooms.
- Automatic framing: The camera can adjust the composition to the participants in view.
- Speaker tracking: Automatic framing can focus attention on the person speaking.
- Shared room audio: Eight MEMS microphones and a built-in 5 W speaker serve the group.
- Electric lens cover: The motorized cover provides a visible camera-privacy control when closed.
- BYOD hub included: The catalog package adds the USB-C connection box to the UVC40 bar.

Map the room connections before installation
Connect the bar and room display through the intended BYOD layout, then test with the laptops people actually bring. The hub’s USB-C laptop cable is specified at 1.5 m, so table position and cable routing matter. Select the Yealink camera and audio devices in the meeting application rather than leaving the laptop microphone active.
| Display | Confirm the laptop supports video output through the selected USB-C connection. |
|---|---|
| Room sound | Position the bar clear of obstructions and test speech from the table’s furthest seat. |
| Management Wi-Fi | Built-in Wi-Fi serves device management; it is not a promise of cable-free camera video to a laptop. |
