Description
The Pro Plus 36 creates a raised workstation for a dual-monitor arrangement or a display-and-laptop setup, provided the equipment fits the surface and load rating. Your keyboard and mouse sit on the lower tier, so the two working levels travel together when you change height.
This is the original manual, spring-assisted Pro Plus 36. Place the assembled unit on a suitable stable desk, arrange the equipment and use its handles to move between 11 height positions. The lift travels upward and toward the user, so allow space in front of the desk as well as on top of it.

Plan the lowest position as well as standing height
A converter adds height even when lowered. Make sure the keyboard deck can work with your chair and desk in the seated position. At the top of the lift, leave cable slack and enough room between you and nearby furniture for the forward movement.

Compare the footprints of the monitor stands with the 36-inch surface, including the depth available on the upper tier. Two screens with large bases can occupy more usable space than their screen size suggests. The supporting desk must carry the converter's own weight as well as the equipment.

No. This listing is the manual spring-assisted model with 11 height settings. The electric version has different dimensions and controls.

Does the 17½-inch height describe the keyboard?
It is the height of the upper surface above the supporting desk. The keyboard sits on the lower tier.
Does it rise straight vertically?
No. Its manual mechanism moves upward and toward the user. Allow front clearance and loose enough cables throughout the movement.
