Armless adjustable task chair

Description

An armless Leap gives you the core adjustments of the Leap task-chair platform with an unobstructed approach to the desk. There are no arm pads to position or move around when pulling close to a work surface. The black fabric seat, upholstered back and black base create a consistent finish for a personal office or shared workstation.

LiveBack allows the backrest to change shape as you move. Separate adjustments let you position the lumbar support, set lower-back firmness and choose upper-back recline resistance. The seat slides to change the usable depth, making front-edge clearance a fit setting rather than a fixed compromise.

Features

  • Armless sides: leave the approach to the desk open and eliminate armrest-to-apron interference.
  • LiveBack construction: allows the backrest to flex with changes in seated posture.
  • Adjustable seat depth: moves through 3 inches of travel to tune thigh support.
  • Lumbar and firmness controls: let you position lower-back contact and adjust its resistance.
  • Five-position back stop: limits backward travel at selectable positions; recline tension is adjusted separately.
  • Carpet casters: match the wheel type specified for this black-base configuration.

Where an armless Leap makes sense

Armless construction changes how you use the workstation. It can make entry and movement easier, but it does not reduce the base footprint or provide a place to rest your elbows. Evaluate it together with your desktop, keyboard position and usual working posture.

Where an armless Leap makes sense
Desk approach Useful when a desk apron or narrow working opening obstructs conventional armrests.
Forearm support Plan where your arms will rest during keyboard or mouse work; the chair provides no arm pads.
Seat fit Set depth with your back against the backrest and space behind your knees.
Room layout Allow room for the rolling base and for the backrest to recline.
Floor surface The specified wheels are intended for carpet; check any proposed hard-floor substitution.

Dial in back support separately

Start with seat height and depth, then move the lumbar support to a comfortable contact point. Use the lower-back firmness control for that part of the backrest and the upper-back tension control for reclining resistance. The back-stop setting determines how far you can lean, rather than replacing those adjustments.

Common questions

Does this Leap include adjustable arms?

No. This is the armless configuration, as identified by its product title and photograph.

Can the seat slide forward?

Yes. The Leap seat-depth mechanism provides 3 inches of travel, separate from pneumatic height adjustment.

Does each back-stop setting lock the recline rigidly?

The control limits backward movement. It should not be treated as a rigid lock at five independent angles.

Which seat-height range applies?

The listing and standard-cylinder guide differ. Confirm the supplied cylinder and measured range before ordering if a specific seat height is essential.
