Description
The Haworth Zody Dual Posture is designed for a workstation where your desk height changes during the day. Alongside conventional sitting, its raised perch provides an intermediate position between sitting and standing. A sliding seat, 4D arms and adjustable recline let you refine the seated setup as well.
This Coal mesh configuration includes Haworth’s PAL system: pelvic support combined with independently adjustable left and right lumbar support. Forward tilt, soft casters and an aluminum base are also specified. It belongs to the newer Dual Posture Zody family.

Seat-height measurements follow Haworth’s North America technical guide; the current retail page rounds the upper setting to 24.5 inches. For this forward-tilt configuration, follow Haworth’s current 325 lb guidance.
Sitting and perching use different desk heights
A Dual Posture chair does not turn a fixed-height desk into an adjustable workstation. Check that the desk can reach a useful keyboard height for both positions.

Tune the lumbar support to your own back
Start with even left/right lumbar pressure and move the support to a comfortable height. Make small changes one side at a time if you prefer unequal pressure. The ability to adjust each side is a feature of the PAL-equipped version; it is not listed on every Zody.
Use the seat-depth range and actual desk height to evaluate the combination instead of choosing solely by your standing height.

Common questions
Is this a Zody Classic?
No. This is the Dual Posture configuration from the newer Zody family, with a height range designed for seated and perched use.
Does this one include adjustable lumbar support?
Yes. The Coal mesh listing explicitly includes the Pelvic and Asymmetrical Lumbar system.
Can I use it with a normal desk?
Yes, within the seated height range, provided the desk and your body dimensions are compatible. A height-adjustable desk is needed to make practical use of the raised perch.
Is it rated for 400 lb?
We use Haworth’s current 325 lb guidance for forward-tilt configurations. The older supplier description’s 400 lb statement is not used for this chair.
