Description
The AutoFeed+ 300X is designed for offices that accumulate batches of paperwork. Load an appropriate stack into the chamber, close the lid and let the machine feed the pages, freeing you from inserting small bundles one after another.
A separate manual slot handles occasional documents and credit cards. The P-4 super cross-cut mechanism creates small paper particles, while the large pull-out bin reduces how often you need to empty it. Choose this model for its combination of automatic batch handling and everyday manual access.

Choose the right feed path
Capacity depends on paper weight and condition. Reduce the batch for thicker stock, keep sheets neatly aligned and follow the supplied manual for acceptable materials. A 300-sheet chamber is a loading limit, not a guarantee that every mixed stack will feed without attention.

Plan for convenient emptying
Leave room in front to remove the bin and above the machine to open the loading chamber. Empty the bin when indicated and follow GBC's lubrication instructions using the specified shredder-maintenance products. Keep the power connection accessible so the unit can be disconnected before moving or cleaning it.

Common questions
Does 300-sheet capacity apply to the manual slot?
No. The automatic chamber accepts up to 300 sheets; the manual slot accepts up to 10 sheets.
Is this the same as the 300M?
No. The 300X is the P-4 super cross-cut model. The 300M is a separate P-5 model with different manual-feed capacity.
Can it shred credit cards automatically?
Credit cards must use the manual feed path specified in the instructions, rather than the automatic paper chamber.
Can it run continuously all day?
No. GBC lists a 60-minute continuous run time for this US model. Follow any cool-down indication and the supplied operating instructions.
