The DS-790WN is designed for a shared scanning point where documents need to reach the right destination without tying up a computer for every job. Its touchscreen can send supported jobs to storage, email or network locations after those destinations have been configured.
The 100-sheet feeder and two-sided capture suit recurring stacks of forms, invoices and business records. Set up the destination before the paper stack
Test a small batch with the final destination and user account. Confirm that another authorized person can open the saved file, that page order is correct and that your chosen filename is meaningful. This is more useful than testing the scanner with a temporary desktop folder only.
