This Electrix 7742 machine light is a waterproof 36 watt/120V service lamp with remote transformer and adjustable, steel mounting brackets. It is 2-3/4" in diameter and 20" in length and made of 1/4" thick acrylic for resistance to impact and water. It has a 3500K bright white, compact, 36 watt fluorescent bulb for bright, diffused light over a large area. It has a 54" oil- and water-resistant cord from the fixture to the remote transformer attached to a 9.5' grounded, oil- and water-resistant cord and plug with liquid-tight fittings to the power outlet. It is rated for 12,000 hours, is Underwriters Laboratory (UL) listed, and has a National Electrical Manufacturer Association (NEMA) Type-13 rating for protection against circulating dust and dripping water. This work light is suitable for use in environments in which chemical coolants, metal chips, cutting oils, and running coolants are in constant use.
