Details: Eangee's large Jellyfish floor lamp with real fossilized cocoa leaf lampshade and long slender wrought iron tentacles, each embracing small glass beads is a very striking and distinctive piece that gracefully accents any home or office decor. This uniquely styled fair trade and sustainable product is made in the Philippines. Artisans start with a wrought iron frame that is powder coated to insure a durable long-lasting color and finish. They then create a work of art from the shade with fossilized, sustainably harvested leaves. Organic dyes are applied to uniquely and naturally stain the leaf. The resulting effect is a lamp with different hues and shades, sometimes within the same leaf. Artisans adhere the stained leaves to a heat resistant backing and use a strong sealant to ensure the beauty, stability and integrity of the shade. The Jellyfish floor lamp measures 16-inch long by 16-inch wide by 67-inch high and uses a 40-watt medium base lamp (not included); any compact florescent lamp (CFL) wattage is highly recommended for use in place of an incandescent bulb.
