Description
LH820ST places the projector much closer to the screen than a conventional business projector. That can be valuable where room depth is limited or where you want to keep the projection beam away from much of the audience. The short-throw lens is fixed, so choosing the mounting point is especially important.
BenQ lists a Fast Mode for responsive 1080p/60 use as well as presentation and golf picture modes. A projector is only one part of a simulator setup: software, tracking hardware, screen material and physical clearances need their own checks. This listing does not include those elements or promise a particular simulator result.

Check the screen width before mounting
At 0.497:1, a 100-inch-wide image needs the lens about 49.7 inches from the screen. This example uses image width, not diagonal size. Measure the intended visible image and use BenQ’s installation guidance to check vertical offset and mount position; a fixed lens gives less placement freedom than an optical zoom model.

Can I use an optical zoom to change the image size?
No. The optical lens is fixed; physical distance is central to image sizing.
Does 30,000 hours mean a guaranteed service life?
No. It is the manufacturer’s light-source estimate in Eco mode, not a warranty or a lifespan for every component.
Is simulation software included?
No. The projector displays a compatible video source; simulation software, sensors and screen are separate.
