Description
Allsteel Evo brings its principal controls close to the seat edge, where you can reach them while sitting. Height, seat depth and upright tilt lock are the main manual adjustments; the recline mechanism responds to the sitter’s weight. This helps when a chair moves between focused desk work, reading and a shared workspace.
The Frost Lustre configuration combines a mesh back with a padded upholstered seat and includes both adjustable lumbar support and 4D arms. Its open arms allow movement while remaining oriented toward the work surface during recline.

Does automatic recline suit your working style?
Evo is useful when you want movement without repeatedly turning a tension knob. That is different from a chair offering a choice of several locked recline angles. If you mostly type upright, test the upright lock as well as the free-moving setting.
The mesh back and padded seat also deserve separate consideration. Mesh allows airflow at the back, while the seat has the contact and firmness of a cushion. Try the lumbar pad at more than one height and check the arm pads with the keyboard and mouse in their usual positions.
Allow room behind the chair to lean and roll away from the desk. The 26-inch footprint is a starting measurement, not the total space a seated person needs. For maintenance, vacuum gently and follow Allsteel’s textile care guidance; verify the caster type against the flooring you plan to use.

Does this Evo include lumbar support?
Yes. The Frost Lustre listing explicitly includes the adjustable lumbar component, although it is an option elsewhere in the Evo family.
Is there a recline-tension knob?
Evo uses weight-activated tension. Its separate upright lock controls whether the chair can recline.
Are the arms fixed?
No. This configuration specifies 4D adjustable arms; fixed-arm Evo versions are separate products.
Is the seat made from mesh?
