The Sandusky Lee KDE7848-09 storage cabinet is made of steel for strength and has a black powder coat finish for resistance to chipping and corrosion, four adjustable shelves, and a keyless electronic locking handle for security. It is suitable for organizing, storing, and securing items. The keyless electronic lock has two programmable passwords, one for the administrator and one for the user, and keeps records of when the unit was accessed for security. This storage cabinet comes with an external back-up battery to run the electronic keypad during a power failure and two identical auxiliary bypass keys for use if the electronic lock fails. The hinged doors on this cabinet have full-length welded stiffeners for strength. The shelves adjust in 2" increments to accommodate items of varying heights. The floor surface on this cabinet is raised and level with the front lip for ergonomic purposes and can be used as a fifth shelf.
The assembled cabinet measures 78 x 48 x 24 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) It complies with American National Standards Institute/Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association (ANSI/BIFMA) shelf standards. This storage cabinet requires assembly, instructions are included, tools for assembly are not included.
