This Electrix 7428 black quartz halogen magnifier lamp with articulating arm and weighted base is suitable for a variety of desktop magnification applications. The articulating arm has a 30" reach and provides 100W and 700 foot-candles (equivalent to a 150W incandescent bulb) of 3,000 K white light. The lamp housing supports a 3-diopter lens with 1.75 times magnification, a 13" focal length, and a 5" viewing area for task magnification. Its 10-1/2" circular base is weighted to prevent tipping and has a built-in 700W convenience outlet. It comes with a 100W halogen bulb with a life of 2,000 hours, and a 9' grounded cord and plug. Its articulated arm provides flexibility for varied viewing distances and angles. This quartz halogen magnifier lamp is Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Listed and is suitable for a range of industrial, commercial, and scientific magnification applications.
