Description
The fi-8150 is built for turning recurring piles of office paperwork into organized digital files. Two image sensors read both sides in one pass, while the automatic feeder handles batches without requiring you to place every sheet on a glass bed. It suits invoices, forms and mixed everyday documents where repeatable feeding matters more than a large touchscreen.
Its wired Ethernet connection adds deployment flexibility, but software support differs by operating system. A Windows capture workflow and a Mac connected over USB are not interchangeable configurations. Choose the connection and supported application together before planning a shared scanning station.

Common questions
Does it scan both sides automatically?
Yes. Duplex scanning captures both sides during one feed pass. The 100 ipm rating counts individual page sides; it does not mean 100 double-sided sheets per minute.
Can it scan a bound passport without accessories?
Booklet scanning requires the compatible Booklet Carrier Sheet. That accessory is listed separately by the manufacturer and is not assumed to be in this package.
Is the Ethernet connection wireless?
No. This model provides wired LAN connectivity. Plan an Ethernet cable and the appropriate software/network configuration if you need shared access.
Will every Windows feature work on a Mac?
No. The manufacturer lists USB-only Mac support and different drivers. Confirm your exact operating-system release and intended capture application before ordering.
