Description
The Venus 125 helps protect frequently handled office materials such as reference sheets, training handouts and signs. Its wide entry gives room for documents beyond standard letter width, while selectable pouch settings make it possible to choose a flexible or more rigid finished result.
This is the original Venus 125, item 5215901. Its operating profile is different from the later Venus 2 machines: allow approximately four minutes for initial heating and plan around the original model’s 18-inch-per-minute transport speed. The front LCD provides settings and status without needing to infer readiness from the housing temperature.

Choose the process before feeding
A thicker pouch is not automatically the better choice. Consider how the finished piece will bend, fit a holder or be stored. Test a representative sheet when changing paper stock, and leave an adequate pouch margin around the document.

Common questions
Is this the Venus 2?
No. This listing is the original Venus 125, item 5215901. Later-model claims for much faster heating or automatic pouch detection should not be applied to this machine.
Can standard thermal pouches be used in cold mode?
No. Cold lamination needs suitable self-adhesive pouches. Thermal adhesive requires the correct heated setting to bond.
Can I laminate an irreplaceable original?
Consider making a copy first. Heat, adhesive and permanent encapsulation can alter an original; test materials and follow the document issuer’s requirements.
Does 18 inches per minute mean a complete job takes seconds?
It describes transport speed after the machine is ready. Initial heating, pouch preparation, document length and cooling all contribute to total job time.
