The Powershred 99Ci is a practical fit for recurring paperwork rather than a single-sheet desktop routine. It reduces invoices, correspondence and other paper records into short cross-cut pieces and collects them in a pull-out bin that can be emptied without lifting the cutting head.
Its balance of an 18-sheet maximum feed and 9-gallon capacity suits a home office or a small shared workspace. Plan longer clear-outs around the stated duty cycle: up to 30 minutes of operation followed by 40 minutes of cooling. Feed size depends on paper thickness and condition, so lighter batches are appropriate for heavier or folded material.

No. This model is rated for up to 30 minutes on followed by a 40-minute cool-down period.
Is the 18-sheet figure suitable for every paper type?
No. It is a maximum for standard paper under rated conditions. Thicker sheets, folds, humidity and other material can reduce the number to feed.
Does it accept staples and discs?
