Details: Oregon Lamination premium low melt thermal laminating roll film on 3" core 38" x 500' x 5.0 mil with glossy finish represents professional quality lamination rolls for all thermal roll laminators including heat shoe and heated roller types including GBC, Ledco, Banner, USI and more. Low melt polyester laminate is used primarily for encapsulation and provides excellent adhesion and clarity on coated and glossy papers as well as those with heavy ink coverage. This roll laminate has a special copolymer adhesive which allows the lamination film to seal at a much lower temperature than most films. Lower temperature allows the film to bond faster, which means faster production and increased efficiency. Bonding temperature reported at 220 to 250 F. Protect and enhance your prints and posters like the professionals do, with low melt laminating film. TIP: The actual temperature required for ANY laminating film varies by laminator type (heated roller vs heat shoe), laminating speed, ambient temperature, type of paper and even the color(s) of the print being laminated. Polyester PET plastic films resist penetration by chemicals, grease and oils and are the most commonly used laminate for hot roll laminators, especially when encapsulating paper sheets. Overall diameter is approximately 7" inches and fits most roll laminating machines using 3" diameter feed roll mandrels.
