Description
This system brings the keyboard and mouse onto one adjustable surface below the desk edge. It suits a setup where you want to change typing height and tilt independently of the fixed desktop, then slide the platform inward when the work area is clear.
The 550 board is a shared keyboard-and-mouse platform. The phrase “no mouse platform” in the configuration means there is no separate attached mouse tray; it does not remove the mousing area from the main board. Measure your keyboard’s width before assuming a large model will leave adequate mouse travel.

Check the underside before ordering
A sit-stand desk can still have under-top hardware that prevents a straightforward tray installation. Inspect the frame and cable trays as well as the visible desktop. Use suitable mounting hardware and the manufacturer’s installation instructions for the actual worktop.

Common questions
Is this a 2G or a 6G mechanism?
The product code specifies 6G. Descriptions of the older 2G mechanism should not be used to identify this configuration.
Where does the mouse go?
On the built-in mousing area of the 550 board, alongside the keyboard. There is no separate swivel or clip-on mouse platform in this configuration.
Does it clamp to the desk edge?
This is an under-desk track system. Installation requires the appropriate attachment to the underside of a suitable worktop rather than a simple edge clamp.
Will it convert a fixed desk to full standing height?
The 6G provides a limited keyboard adjustment range. It is not a full-height desktop converter or a replacement for a sit-stand desk.
