Description
Series 1 brings the main adjustments of a task chair into a relatively compact form. In this configuration, graphite seat and back materials contrast with the light frame shown in the product gallery. The flexible back structure sits behind a 3D Microknit surface, with a movable lumbar component for positioning lower-back support.
A weight-activated mechanism adjusts recline resistance automatically, with selectable settings for different preferences. Set the height, seat depth and arm position around your desk, then try the recline controls. This is a chair for seated desk work; the separate Series 1 stool has a substantially taller cylinder.

A compact chair still needs a fit check
Measure the space between desk legs, including any drawers or side supports. The arm positions affect width, and the chair needs room to move out from under the worktop. At the seated height you choose, keep the keyboard within easy reach and make sure the front edge does not press behind your knees.

Common questions
Is the light frame the upholstery color?
No. Graphite identifies the darker textile finish. The gallery shows a contrasting light Seagull frame.
Is a headrest included?
No headrest is shown or established as included in this configuration. Optional Series 1 accessories are separate.
Can I adjust the depth of the seat?
Yes. The standard seat slider provides 2¼ in of travel.
Is this the taller Series 1 stool?
No. It is the conventional-height chair. The stool's seat-height range should not be used for this listing.
