Description
The IDEAL 2265 CC keeps paper disposal close to the desk, so sensitive printouts need not build into a large stack before shredding. This is the P-4 cross-cut configuration: it produces short particles rather than the long strips made by the P-2 version. A photo-cell sensor starts and stops the cutting mechanism as paper is fed.
The cabinet houses a removable collection bin with a viewing window, making it easier to see when emptying is needed. Hardened steel cutting shafts, reverse control and a safety flap support everyday operation. The relatively small feed capacity is best suited to frequent manageable batches rather than entire thick files inserted at once.

Keep the feed light and the bin clear
Remove binders, bulky clips and unsupported materials before feeding a small stack. Do not force a stalled bundle through the opening; use the specified reverse procedure. Empty the bin before shredded paper obstructs the cutter area, and oil the cutting mechanism using the lubricant and interval recommended in the supplied instructions.
The supplier describes continuous operation. Keep within feed limits and allow any thermal-protection system to operate; continuous use does not mean unlimited stack size.

Does it shred six sheets of any thickness?
No. The 5–6-sheet figure is based on A4 80 g/m² paper. Use fewer sheets with heavier stock and avoid folded stacks.

Does it need manual oiling?
