Description: Elastix GSM Gateway enables mobile telephony for an VoIP PBX. Adding GSM trunking extends the existing communication alternatives to our Elastix Appliance, and in some cases, it provides access to the external telephony network in places where cellular signal is the only means available. The main difference between the Elastix GSM Gateway and a regular cellular base is that is designed to directly convert GSM to SIP, instead of following the traditional sequence of GSM -> Analog -> SIP, as in multiple solutions out there. Thus, our unified communications server is able to perform specific functions, such as including SMS delivery at the campaign level, or for end users.
