Details: This SafeAir TDI/MDI badge provides an immediate visual indication when an Aromatic Isocyanate (either TDI or MDI) is present in your environment. A color change, in the form of an exclamation mark, warns of the presence of Toluene Diisocyanate (TDI) or Methylene Diphenyl Diisocyanate (MDI) above a threshold level of 5.0 ppb*hr. Ideal for daily screening. SafeAir is a low-cost, easy-to-use chemical detector badge which requires minimal training and no calibration or lab analysis. SafeAir chemical detection badges are available for many different toxic industrial chemicals. Sold here in a pack of 50 badges (Morphix Part# 382001-50) and a pack of 10 badge clips (Morphix Part# 401966-10). A Color Comparator accessory (part # 383005 for TDI or part # 383006 for MDI) can be used to determine exposure dose by matching the color on the badge to a color on the comparator. These specially designed color charts feature a slot for the badges. Once the badge is inserted, the user can turn a wheel to match the color on the badge to the comparator, and the corresponding exposure dose is indicated in the exposure dose window.
